Djembatan Dua Participated in Hospital Expo to Support of Accelerating the Use of Domestic Products


Stardec, one of Argon Group's own medical device brands, is actively delivering the most excellent medical device products to the community. Stardec participated in the Indonesia Hospital Expo 2022, held between the 19th and 22nd of October 2022 at the Jakarta Convention Center and attended by various institutions, including hospitals, governments, medical devices wholesalers, and consumers. Consumers was also chance to experiencing the high quality of Stardec products. Stardec, marketed by PT Djembatan Dua, showcased the high domestic component levels of the medical device products (higher than 40%), including the Stardec Latex Examination Glove (92.08%), Stardec Surgical Tie On Mask (62.14%), Stardec Surgical Ear Loop Mask (58.55%), Stardec Urine Bag with T Valve (TKDN 56.90%), and Stardec Infusion Set (54.01%). The high domestic component level of Stardec products, complies with the Domestic Component Level requirements outlined in Presidential Instruction No. 6 of 2016 on Accelerating the Development of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices Industry. Mr. Edbert Orotodan, Director of PT Djembatan Dua, stated that the Argon Group, through PT Djembatan Dua, has a vision of self-sufficiency in domestic products since 2011 with the launch of medical device items under the Stardec brand. Since e-catalog LKPP (the Policy Institution for Procurement of Government Goods and Services) for medical devices started in 2014, Stardec products have been included in the e-catalog through several items such as masks, gloves and now, 60 Stardec product items had been listed in e-catalog and it will continue to increase in the coming year. "The government's import substitution strategy gives an excellent chance for the domestic medical device industry to grow and boost competitiveness aggressively," Mr. Edbert added. Argon Group is also ready to contributing national medical devices independency with the establishment of own medical device factory, PT Deca Metric Medica (DMM) in 2020. According to Mr. Krestijanto Pandji, President Director of Argon Group, the company will concentrate on manufacturing medical devices in the factory that are designed and built to fulfill international quality requirements, allowing it to collaborate with the multinational medical device companies. "Argon Group is ready to implement Presidential Instruction No. 6 of 2016 on Accelerating the Development of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices Industry. With the foundation of PT Deca Metric Medica, it is envisaged that the local medical device sector would develop while the number of medical device imports will decrease," stated Mr. Krestijanto.
