Djembatan Dua through Argon Peduli, contributes to promoting the quality of public health in the city of Pangkalpinang by organizing a social service event. Various activities were carried out by Argon Peduli in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), including blood donations, free medical treatments, and distribution of basic necessities in the city known as the "City of a Thousand Smiles" on Saturday, June 10, 2023.
Hundreds of enthusiastic residents attended the event to receive medical check-ups, including blood pressure, blood sugar, uric acid, and cholesterol checks. The social service event also provided doctors, allowing residents to have direct consultations and receive appropriate medications.
Mr. Wahyono, the Secretary of PMI Pangkalpinang, expressed appreciation for the presence of Medela Potentia through the Argon Peduli program in Pangkalpinang. He stated that this event has helped PMI meet the blood supply needs in Pangkalpinang.
"We express our gratitude for the contribution of Medela Potentia and its subsidaries in this social service event. For Pangkalpinang, the demand for blood is extraordinary, around 30-40 bags every day. With a target of 50 blood bags today, it can help the community. The demand comes not only from the residents of Pangkalpinang but also from residents of Bangka Island because many hospitals in Pangkalpinang are referral centers," expressed Mr. Wahyono.
In his speech, Mr. Apri Andi Wijaya, the Area Sales Manager of AAM Pangkalpinang, expressed hope that this social service event would further strengthen the good relationship between Medela Potentia and its subsidiaries and the people of Pangkalpinang and provide better healthcare services.
Meanwhile, the HR Director of Medela Potentia stated that this social service event is a concrete manifestation of one of Medela Potentia's core values, Deal with Care. "The health of the community plays a crucial role in improving human resources, combating poverty, and increasing economic development. Medela Potentia cares about promoting the health of Indonesian society and contributes to enhancing easy access to healthcare services," said Mrs. Nancy Kartika.
A total of 150 people received free medical check-up and treatment services. Argon Peduli and PMI also managed to collect 50 bags of blood from 83 people who registered.
